Visit to Huawei’s Filter Production Workshop
From theoretical insights into smart water-fertilizer integrated irrigation systems and simulated demonstrations with the smart agricultural complex model to hands-on observation of Huawei’s product development, participants gained a comprehensive introduction to advanced agricultural technologies. They also experienced the remote operation of Huawei’s “Smart Farmer Cloud” platform and explored the “Smart Farm” demonstration base at Huayu Farm, offering them an immersive experience in smart agriculture.
Practical Applications in Smart Agriculture
Many participants expressed that the water-fertilizer integrated irrigation products, smart agriculture IoT systems, greenhouse construction, and holistic agricultural solutions, including farm planning and production management, are highly relevant to their countries’ needs. They voiced strong interest in partnering with Huawei to introduce and implement these advanced smart agricultural irrigation technologies in their home countries.
This training program included 27 participants from nine countries, including Thailand, Latvia, Belarus, Egypt, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. All attendees were senior officials from local agricultural departments or members of relevant research institutions.
Their visit highlighted Huawei’s role in promoting agricultural innovation and global collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative.
