On May 28, 2018, participants of the “2018 Developing Countries Climate Change and Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Program,” hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs’ Foreign Economic Cooperation Center, visited Huawei for on-site training and technical exchange in smart agricultural equipment.
The delegation consisted of over 30 participants from 13 countries, including Palestine, Kenya, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Most were senior officials from national agricultural ministries, universities, research institutions, presidential offices, provincial governments, and other key departments, acting as an advance team to explore cutting-edge agricultural technologies abroad.
From high-quality products and water-fertilizer integrated smart irrigation technology to agricultural IoT systems and comprehensive smart agricultural solutions, the participants were deeply impressed by Huawei’s capacity to provide “Chinese solutions” for modern smart irrigation systems globally. Many expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Huawei to introduce and promote these advanced agricultural technologies in their home countries.
