  • Shanghai Irrigation Engineering Center Relying on the Shanghai Water-Saving Irrigation Engineering Technology Research Center (provincial and ministerial level) and the Huawei Academician Expert Workstation and other internal platforms, in conjunction with China Agricultural University, Northwest A&F University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tongji University, Jiangsu University, Hunan Agricultural University, Australia's PIRSA, and other institutions, as well as relevant government departments, we have jointly created the Huawei collaborative innovation model for modern agriculture, integrating "government, industry, academia, research, finance, service, and innovation".

    The center assembles a cross-disciplinary team of over 50 experts, including a national 'Ten Thousand Talents Plan' member and other distinguished professionals, dedicated to advancing smart agriculture and water-saving irrigation. it operates the Shanghai Water-Saving Irrigation Engineering Technology Research Center, equipped with a 5,000 square meter facility and over 50 testing platforms, driving innovation from research to product commercialization, with over 80% of its patented technologies already transformed into industry applications.

  • The Yongzhou Controllable Agricultural Engineering Technology Research Center, co-established by Huawei Water-saving Technology Equipment (Hunan) Co., Ltd. and Hunan Agricultural University, was approved and established in October 2020.

    The center's main research directions include efficient irrigation, intelligent water-fertilizer integration product and technology research, key technology research in controllable agriculture (protected agriculture + digital agriculture), and accelerating the engineering transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

    The center, established in collaboration with Huawei and leading agricultural institutions, encompasses over 5,000 square meters of facilities including production and office spaces, and expert workshops. It aims to be a hub for controllable agriculture research and development, talent cultivation, and technology promotion in Hunan and Central China, driving industry innovation and the commercialization of agricultural technologies.
