Mongolian Central Province Agricultural Delegation Visits HUAWEI

On May 28, 2018, a delegation from Mongolia’s Central Province, led by Provincial Governor J. Batjargal and Minister of Food and Agriculture B. Jamballdorj, visited Jinshan District to explore urban modern green agriculture. In the afternoon, the delegation made a special trip to Shanghai HUAWEI, where they gained in-depth insights into smart agricultural equipment and visited China’s first Irrigation Museum, independently planned and built by HUAWEI. The visit was accompanied by Zhang Difang, Deputy Mayor of Jinshan District, along with representatives from the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural Committee and the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

Hands-On Interaction with Smart Irrigation Technology
Governor J. Batjargal actively operated the smart irrigation system sandbox of the agricultural complex, integrated with water and fertilizer management technology. The delegation expressed great interest in the “Farm Head” Smart Agricultural Cloud Platform, with a detailed inquiry into its functionalities, remote-control capabilities, and applications in the Internet of Things (IoT) for agriculture.

The delegation highly praised the quality of HUAWEI’s products and technological innovations. Governor J. Batjargal specifically highlighted HUAWEI’s comprehensive smart agricultural solutions showcased in the China-Egypt “Belt and Road” Smart Irrigation Project. He emphasized the feasibility of implementing such technology in Mongolia and expressed a strong desire to initiate further discussions to promote collaboration.
