Uzbekistan Agricultural and Water Management Training Program Held

Commissioned by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the China Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences, the “2017 Uzbekistan Agricultural and Water Management Training Program” (part of the Ministry of Commerce’s 2017 foreign aid training initiatives on agricultural water management) commenced in Beijing in early September and ran for 20 days.
On September 18, the “Shanghai Session – Efficient Irrigation Technology,” co-organized by the Shanghai Water-Saving Irrigation Engineering Technology Research Center and Shanghai Huawei Water-Saving Irrigation Co., Ltd., took place at Huawei’s Shanghai headquarters, which served as the on-site teaching base for this session. Over 30 officials and experts from Uzbekistan’s agricultural and water management sectors participated in the training.
Hands-On Learning Through Demonstrations and Site Visits
Participants engaged in interactive demonstrations of efficient water-fertilizer integrated irrigation systems, simulations of smart farms, and firsthand observation of Huawei’s R&D and production processes for water-fertilizer integrated products. They also attended courses on the application of efficient irrigation technologies in crop cultivation. These multifaceted learning experiences offered participants a comprehensive and intuitive understanding of efficient water-fertilizer integrated irrigation systems and the innovations of smart agriculture.
The participants visited Huawei’s mold workshop and filter workshop, gaining insights into the company’s advanced manufacturing capabilities. Many expressed their enthusiasm, praising the training as a highly enriching and worthwhile experience.
